Rare Doo wop from 1959 on Decca credited to THE CUTTERS. Neville Taylor is not mentioned on the Label but i believe that he is singing lead on both sides of the single. I'VE HAD IT on the flip is a cover of an american teen record from the same year by The Bell Notes. LITTLE MISS RUBY was only released as a show performance on the 'OH BOY! LP...

  • The Flip side Rockaroo is way better .

  • I've heard Worse I.E. modern music .

  • Yes that's true I have couple of his Parlophone sides and one on Oriole. This is credited to the Group but that is old Nev singing check out the other side Rockaroo where he sings more lead it's unmistakebly him. I think Rockaroo is the better tune aswell. I also bought cassette of his a year or ago that has got some good old rock'n'roll doowop songs on it when he moved onto Europe. Cool stuff! Cheers for being the first to reply.

  • Even the great Red Price (tenor sax) is having difficulties on this one.

  • I met Neville and his son Billy a few times in the mid 70's in Tiffany's in Glasgow when they used to meet up for drinks after hours with my dad and other friends. What ever happened to Neville after that - does anyone know? Also, his son Billy was embarking on a singing career at that time - did he ever make a success of it?

  • This is terrible singing.

  • Neville Taylor wasn't credited because he had at the time a separate contract with Parlophone, where he was produced by George Martin.
