@SadakoMoose Not really. I understand that they were satirizing an unpleasant trend in early 20th century service and pointing out how much things have improved.
But anyone who's ever worked in a restaurant will encounter a lot of customers that make them yearn for these days of elitist customer abuse. Because some of the people we get deserve it.
