Made a decision for Christ in '82 and this song ( and Rez) has always been my passionate favorite. Even during some years were I chose a dark path often the question would rise at parties what song is paramount and your favorite of all time. I would always answer "Broken Promises by Rez" to which the majority of partiers would look at me confused and bewildered not knowing what I'm talking about. I would just smile... you just gotta know it to feel it! -Good work, Bless Ya!

One day I had enough of what was being given to me in this life and I actually shook my fist at God and turned my back on him. He allowed me to go my own way, make huge mistakes in my life and come to near ruin until I could not take it anymore. When I turned around looking for him I found that he had never left me as I reflected on my life. If He isn't worth at least trusting this area of your life to, then is He really Lord of your life yet? Give Him that chance to show you... then you decide how to respond. Being willing to see your life through God's eyes is one of the most courageous acts... and the most blessed. It's either fear or faith we choose.

@fragilebeaster The important thing is your relationship with Christ. No one should judge you for where you are at and the Lord will show you what is of Him, and what isn't. I think the bottom line is this, if something is dividing your relationship with the Lord, then cut it off... cut it out. How does Rez / Glenn Kaiser feel about gay peeps who believe in Jesus? I'm gay and I believe Jesus is there, and I feel good. And gotta love Rez, saw them live in 90.. Great stuff, Lament and Silence Screams are my favourites.. Peace!
