This is video at the end of the night where Hotel Contessa donated a very nice package to be auctioned off for the March of Dimes Foundation. On stage from left to right is: Sous Chef - Andrew Gutierrez, Executive Chef - Brian West, and Food & Beverage Director - Shane Bruns. The team is representing the Las Ramblas Restaurant of Hotel Contessa. Our signature dish of the night was a modern interpretation of "Turducken" which won the night's top honor for most innovative dish.
Signature Chefs Auctions are exciting events that pay tribute to the culinary distinction of 15 to 25 of the finest chefs, caterers and local celebrity chefs while raising money to support the March of Dimes mission of saving babies. Each chef is asked to present their signature dish in miniature form as well as donate a unique package to be sold during a live auction. After enjoying a large reception, while bidding on enticing silent auction packages, guests are invited to bid on a variety of packages related to entertainment, dining, leisure and travel in our lively live auction.
San Antonio's event was at The Vista at Valero for 2009.
