Intel has identified a number of critical success factors that will nurture local talent. By working with local universities in countries such as India, countries can shift from simply producing an employable workforce to one that promotes ideas and innovation. For example, Indias Vision 2020 project aims to evolve India into a developed, thriving economy over the next decade. As a result, Intel is working with 34 Indian universities to provide multi-core and parallel programming training, in order to educate the next generation of software engineers in the latest software development processes. Currently, 412 universities worldwide, including 34 from India, are being taught parallel programming based on Intels training.
