Drawn to Animation

This presentation originally opened with Disney's California Adventure theme park on February 8, 2001 at Disney Animation building. This 230-seat theater presented "Drawn to Animation" which was hosted by a live Disney "artist" and an animated Mushu exploring what it takes to create a full-length animated feature. This show closed in 2005 to be replaced by "The Animation Academy" in which a Disney artist teaches you how to draw Disney characters.

Yeah, it sucks. Chris Sanders left Disney (shy of 20 years on working for Disney) and joined Dreamworks. Though there is still one thing he did prior to his leave, he is still credited for writing the story for "American Dog" (now renamed "Bolt").
