I was out on the Texas A&M University-Kingsville campus, when I happened upon a lovely young lady selling roses. My intent was to test out the new Creative Labs Vado HD pocket cam I recently purchased. Her name was Sarah and I wish to thank her for letting me conduct a short interview and video test with her. She is a senior at Tuloso-Midway high school this year. Sarah, I wish you the best in your future educational endeavors! I also hope your were able to sell a lot of roses too! The video is not raw footage, I edited it using Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate edition. Some soft focus effects and music were added to the video. Thanks for looking! :-)

  • what effect is that you used on the video????where it blurs around the edge?????

  • @holladaycubed I use a filter from Red Giant Magic Bullet Looks called "Swing Tilt".

  • Wow this is great quality. I am in the market for an HD camera. Was looking at the JVC Picsio but this camera is looking like a winner. I'm a mac guy do you know if its compatible? Thanks for sharing.

  • the3rdceo, Hello. Thank you for the comments. The Vado HD is an excellent camera. I did add some effects to it post production though. I believe it is very possible to use it on a MAC.

  • Wow, the sound sucks on the Vado. A little bit.

  • It was quite a tricky environment to shoot in, with all the people around.. it is hard to get a single person even with a normal camcorder. I also made the background music a bit to loud.
