@baffinislandbastard The guy next to me down in the trenches is fighting for capitalism and killing innocent people in the process. They are cowards.

@carlwebb It doesn't have to do with the situation... it has to do with your character. I can give you a little credit because you actually disagree with the war instead of the other jackasses who post on youtube and join and refuse to go because they are scared. That is not a reason to go AWOL. If you go AWOL because you're scared you are the lowliest of creatures. Anyway, the point is, people can fight the war all day... but down in the trenches it's the guy next to you, not capatalism.

@baffinislandbastard Yes I rode out the benefits and pay until I couldn't anymore. How is that relevant to the issue of fight on the wrong side and killing innocent people in the interest of capitalism? You and your friends are wrong. You should do the right thing and refuse.

Look man... I don't understand why you were in anything Army when you knew there was a war going on and you're MOS is medic... I mean... c'mon. If you disagreed with the war why didn't you get out when it kicked off? It sounds like you rode out the benefits and pay until you couldn't anymore. Bottom line nobody likes this war and it's retarded... but you just let down other soldiers. I was over there twice... I don't agree with it... but I don't roll on my friends. It's wrong, man.
What do you think WWII and the Civil War were about?

Carl just to let you know under the UCMJ Acticle 85 the max punishment is Death. I doubt they would do that. They most likey wont come after you because your not worth they're time. But you might see them if you get arrested for something else. One last thing, Why join the Army if you think this Nation is evil?

Carl, serious question here. When you signed up for the military, did you do so with the knowledge that if ever called up to go overseas that you would not go? Was it truly just about a paycheck or is that just sarcasm when you say that? Seriously, did you know from day one that you'd just stay in until you were called up and then desert or go underground or whatever?

@UNCRatDog That's correct. I never had any intention of fighting for this big business and the government that supports it.

@UNCRatDog I've realized that the government and capitalism was evil since I was 15 so I new from the beginning I wouldn't participate in their wars. I'm just waiting for the whole system to be overthrown.
