I have to thank you for making this, I think we have to expose believers to their own religion. They are in no question good moral people, but yet they worship a book that says this..

We have in many years told christians what the bible says, and I am glad that someone does the same with islam. Just yhink about how the middle east could flourish with more secular states!

It is as they say, the best way to become an atheist is to read the bible. I hope we can add the koran there too.

I made a Muslim admit that the prophet was wrong after explaining this to him. He also said that he'd look it up and if I was wrong he'd bring his cousin and beat me up!!!

@19822andy Will do that, it is very well made, the research is very solid. It's sad that critisism of islam is instantly labeled as racism, but we can question christianity after our hearts desire.

May I ask what happened with the muslim? Did he he ever come back? Should be interesting to know if he took it to heart.

I guess islam is as much the religion of peace as christianity, islam did not spead over the eastern world through gentle persuasion, that's for sure!

@Blargaha He found out what I was saying was true and he said he didn't feel qualified enough to talk about religion!! He also told me that Islam had NOTHING to do with Abraham. I told him that when Muslims perform the hajj in mecca they actually get to touch a building built by Abraham. I called him a "De-caff, Low Fat" Muslim. He then said I couldn't tell him about Islam because I wasn't a Muzzie. Many lolz were had on that day

@langsense I agree with you.. However this video deals specifically with Islam. All acts of child abuse are wrong.

Don't apologise for commenting either. It is your view and you are entitled to hold any opinion you wish. Your point is valid. It doesn't take a book to make a grown person molest a child. We should speak out against ALL acts of child molestation.

Please do not be offended or feel upset that this video doesn't address this. It only deals with one point and that is all.

@langsense I am sorry if you felt questioned or attacked by me,but you have to understand, my distaste in this debate does not come from a hatred against islam or muslims, but the concern that a book which millions upon millions of people consider to be the perfect moral words of god, says sex with children is okay.

Not even the bible (that is full of nastyness) takes it that far.

but is it worse than what happens in the rest of the world. It would be hard to quantify because many cases of paedophilia go unreported but you see and hear so much much about paedophile rings.. all this in the West and Eastern countries, who do not need a bible to tell them it's okay.

It's difficult to make my point as it's personal, i tried to explain to @blargaha but it is hard to express how it feels. I am not apologising for Islam, I am an atheist.

@langsense Yes, but in this case it is condoned, from authority, attacks on children are condoned.

Apologetic is someone that is supposedly an atheist, but excuses the acts of religions, that is what you are.

My dislike has nothing to do with racism, which I'm sure you will accuse me of next, it has to do with that this book that millions of muslims take moral guidance from, says sleeping with children is okay. You can't get away from that.
