Is your 2260 also really noisy?
-
is this aquarium easy to maintain cause I have one 21/2*1*3 tank and it becomes a paint to clean it and decorate it,it is good for my discus to grow but pain to decorate and also will halide light 10000 kelvin do in my tank .please reply

@Ouscazz I'd imagine they are only shy and skitish because they have no covered area's. Get some long grasses or fake foots for them to hide in and make an area shaded from light.

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it!
Other inhabitants are 3 Pterophyllum Altum, 10 Corydoras Sterbai, 1 L144 Ancistrus sp and 1 L333 Hypancistrus sp.
The background is artificial and made by Aquaterra, model name is Amazona.
No CO2, just Easy Life Easy Carbo and natural NO3 from the fish waste nitrification. The Bleheris (sword plant) are constatly setting new offsprings.

And the Altums and Discus get on fine with eachother?
Was it easy to acclimatize the wild discus to the aquarium?
Again - great job!

Yeah, the Altums make the heckels less shy, they get along really good.
The heckels where already acclimatized when I got them... to be honest they are kinda boring fish in all their beauty, very shy and very close to dashing if something is disturbing them. But, I can't live without them... :o)
