This goes along with the argument that Toby Zeigler is making to Congresswoman Andrea Wyeth during one episode of The West Wing. She asks about the speech about the middle east and he says that they brought in people from state and treasury and then she asks "What is Egypt supposed to think, or Pakistan?" and he returns with the statement "that freedom and democracy are coming...soon........... to a theatre near them so get dressed." It's like people think that we own the world. WE DON'T!!!

.....except that there IS 1 misinterpretation of the lyrics in this video.

It occurs at 1:14 with the words..........

"From the sound up in Long Island to the San Francisco Bay and everything that's in between them is our own". The misinterpretation is where the guy is placing flags all over THE WORLD. The United States has only 50 territories (and 48 of them can be seen at 1:16). We don't own any part of any of the other 185 countries around the globe.

Of course I knew that Medvedev is the current Pres. of Russia...and has been for some time.

Medvedev was Chairman of Gazprom [Russia's state-run oil & gas company], and Putin hand picked him for his successor...and then Medvedev made sure that Putin became PM.

That's why the Russian people refer to it as a 'co-presidency'.

Medvedev doesn't do anything without clearing it with Putin first.

Putin still acts as though he is running things...because he is.

Russia is running out of Oil.

Russia claimed the North Pole last year, so that they could Drill in the Artic Shelf.

Russia is cozy with Hugo Chavez, because of his Oil, and is threatening to give nukes to Chavez.

Every move that Putin makes, is based on Oil, and Russia's lack of it.

Putin was getting Oil from Sadam Hussein.

Most of our Oil Supply is controled by Muslims, who hate us.

And liberals don't want us to Drill for our Own Oil!
