I really think DaVinci's Notebook is about the music, like the harmonies and the singing, while it's still important Paul and Storm really put the emphasis on great lyrics and showmanship. I never got the chance to see them live, but would have jumped at the chance, but I don't think a show style like Paul and Storm would work as well with 4 guys.
I loved Paul & Storm before hearing Da Vinci's Notebook. Now they come first in my notebook. God damn, they're talented. A shame they broke up, but maybe that's for the better.
Fortunately we got to see the boys live twice...including on of their last tour dates. "Paul and storm" are OK, but the Davinci harmonies are hard to beat.
It feels anticlimactic without the tons of digressions that Paul and Storm have mixed into their live version of the song. Still great, just... the new live version is a lot more fun in my opinion.
