Spiritual Groove - Tommy Gauthier & Antoine Dufour (PRACTICE)

This is a PRACTICE cover by Glen Ewing (guitarist) & Paul Peeling (violinist). It is NOT finished yet!!

It was filmed with a number of friends in the room (as you can see).

We have been able to play this since about March 2008.
This was recorded in August 2008.

BUT Paul & I live in different city's, so we still haven't been able to properly sit down and record it.

We know it is not perfect.
We know it goes out of timing.
We know you cannot here me play the guitar much, especially on a classical guitar.
We know it doesn't start from the beginning and ends short.

This is why i am emphasizing the word PRACTICE just so we dont get a lot of 'hate' comments.

I now have an acoustic guitar (Walden G3000).

I am very sorry for it not being great quality and everything.

But we just wanted to show that we can play it as it is a beautiful piece!

AND I do hope Paul and I can record this properly very very soon!!

I absolutely agree with basteen. My only criticism would be that the guitarpart needs to be played on a steelstring. The percussive elements would come out better, the harmonics and the overtones of the arpeggios would be better. But, the song is great in any respect and I'm amazed someone has successfully covered it!! Great job dudes, you look like your having loads of fun!!!

yeah finaly a cover with violin!! sounds awesome, but it would be better if you had a steel string guitar
