Thinking i did something wrong cause i just can't do one of these folds
-
this model turns out very nicely

@Tzun1k : P.S. In this video tadashimori starts the closed squash fold from the point rather than how I described (an alternate methodd). My description is the method taught to me by my origami instructor when I was first learning how to do a Closed Squash fold.

@Tzun1k {cont'd}: Pinch the raised corner of the 1 edge fold and bring it downwards to your work surface. This should cause the point of the triangle flap to billow out and allow you to gently squash the point by pressing along the center crease. As it squash folds you will need to ensure that it makes a proper triangle. The paper will naturally want to do this but a little help from you never hurts.
Cheers & happy folding

@Tzun1k; What you are watching is a Closed Squash. when the flap is raised up, you will have one side with 2 edge folds and the other with only 1 edge fold. Insert your index fingers in between the 2 fold side; slide the tip of your finger along the the work surface until you cannot go any further. Your finger should be directly below the 'point ' of the triangle and the corner of the 1 edge food will slightly raise upwards.
