USMC Oval Charge Wall Breach

Using det cord to blast a hole in the side of a wall large enough to run through. The standoff for this blast is 7 feet with the blast blanket. The explosion actually burst the windows from the inside out.

Notice the unlucky snake that appears at the very end :\

WTF is wrong with these morons?? You NEVER use wireless radio transceiver in the vicinity of a wired charge.

When you key the mike to talk the Electromagnetic field created by the transmitter sets up an electric current in the wire and initiates the detonator....BOOMMM!!!

The last thing you do when planting a charge like that is to put the detonator in the main charge.

never forget to raw a smiley face on your breaching oval charge and also dont always go by the book...analyze the structure and plan for a few of your bricks to to reinforced with more c4 or uli knots to get through 6x6 and 4x for or anything reenforced....you wont always be taking out plywood.....specially for roofs you want them double strong to give you a clear path through the ripped up rafters and trusses...just my thoughts.....

radios could be turned down a bit to try and stay someone covert.......unless thats range safety or coordination

The snake actually curled inside the little slot next to the blast hole. It might have survived.

was this from the NCO course that just finished up? I was in BCE 21-11 and was at the demo range the day this was filmed if i'm right.
