I made medium sized plaits in my hair this time to create a more crinkly braidout. The night before I lightly spritzed my locs with H20 (no products), plaited my hair in sections and then allowed them to air dry over night. Then I took them out the next morning to get awesome crinkles!

  • Thanks. We can always switch places, lol!

  • u sound sad... :(

  • I know right? Lol! Well actually, I was pretty tired so I went back and left a note at the beginning of my video just to let people know. Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it.

  • Nice, i was wondering, how you started your locks en how thick they were when you began because i like a full coup of dreads. but after a few weeks it looked like my "twists" cause i started twisting them,

but it looked like there were less or some like that. so i loosed them again but now i'll start again.

i was also wondering: did you ever used orangejuice to make your dreads lock easier?

    Great vids!

    you explain everything very good!

  • Thanks. My locs were started using the interlocking method and made very skinny (almost too skinny, so I had to join several of them). After 2-3 years they tripled in size and became a little thicker anyway. I never used OJ, but you can try lemon juice. It's kind of drying so make sure to moisturize. Less manipulation and proper hair care practices will help simplify the locking process, but it does take time to loc and mature.

  • @DynamicRunner

    lol ok leggooo

  • Thank you. You can use a wrapping lotion and it will create the same effect, but just make sure that it won't flake or leave goop in your locs.

  • This is really pretty on you, especially with the color! Can you do this with wrapping lotion? Like a foaming lotion, since I latch my locs?

  • My old set of locs were started by a locktician via the interlocking method.
