Hey I know it has been a long time, but I wanted to say that I certainly feel you. Coming out+family violence= bad mix. I also temporarily lost a part of myself. For me It was some feelings instead of memory. It was like having a short in my brain. I would not feel anything but then I would do something wild...all the while being really confused. luckily I got some safety and it is all coming back, like being able to see for the first time in years. glad to hear yours is too. good luck
