For some reason, I can't get Quake to work on my Code. It keeps crashing upon start. It makes no sense, because my phone is capable of true 3D games like Need for Speed Undercover. =\

@mikeeey1337 Many thanks Mikeey! This saves me a lot of time that would have been spent on looking for a solution here. Keep up the good work!

If this uses the same files as pc, we can make Team Fortress 1 Mobile

Yeah i've seriously considered buying an Ipod touch due to available FREE sofware for it... originally the Itouch was very restricted software wise becuase mac has always been so greedy they hate making money, but they recently made the switch to advertising the touch as more of a pda.... but honestly i'd rather use it as a PSP with a touch screen.
BTW best game for PDA is Pocket Heroes now dubbed Palm Heroes...
Only good games are ones ported by fans.. such a this one.
Hi Mikeey. Which version of WM were you using when you made that video? I'm currently on 6.1 Professional and I just can't get Quake 2 to run in full screen landscape. All I can get is 240x180 and those crappy on screen directional buttons, that I can't get rid of. As soon as I switch to 320x240, be it Rght or Left, the game just crashes. Am I correct in assuming that you were on WM 6.0 or sth older when that video was made and there's not much we can do with 6.1? Thanks in advance!

@GordonFulcrum that's correct. One of the main graphics .dll files that quake 1 and 2 use changed from 6.0 to 6.1. I actually happened to be using a hybrid 6.1 version, with parts of 6.0 and parts of 6.1.
After I updated to a real 6.1 rom, I found that it took forever to actually load quake, then the screen was darker, and it was slower. And much like you said, trying to put it into landscape made it crash.

Hi there, I know this may Sound a Little Stupid but will this be able to Run Quake on Win Phone 7 or Not Let me know soon!

@Btushinsky83 probably not. I remember that after an official version of WM6.1 was released it had a new driver .dll that made the quake ports un-playable unfortunately. Then when WM6.5 came out I was hoping that it would work but it still didn't, so I can only assume WM7 will be no different. The quake ports were developed for an older version of WM so it was only a matter of time before they stopped being playable.
