Part-3: Honda GX Engine Project

Part 3 of the Honda GX engine rebuild. This time; removal of pull-starter, main side-cover, ignition coil, and electrics. The engine is not the cleanest I've ever seen, and I also found three stones stuck in one of the covers! Now the engine is mostly stripped it is ready to be thoroughly cleaned.

Hi dave i was wondering what oil would you put in a single cylinder 4 stroke 70cc dirtbike ? thanks

@pradaboy1000 Hi, first check the owners manual but if it says nothing then a branded "10w40 motorcycle engine oil" will be fine, just don't buy the very cheap stuff!

@th19940305 shinyfuzzy is right, it used to be the generator in a fishing boat and it never got much in the way of servicing or cleaning!

@coltonduty123 Hey man, I get more time off work from November to March so I will have more time to spend on the projects. A few people have asked about that now so I'll be sure to have a vid on that up in the next week. :)
