  • I wish that CMT would play Wide Open Country more. Songs and bands like these guys need MUCH more exposure!

They blow away the crap that Trace Adkins keeps putting out!

  • So that's what I have been drinking!?

  • keep it goin Revelers...ask around the talent thats hangin on the trees in your backyard and in the music industry...know yourself...your selection of instruments for each song. Keep your finger on the pulse of cajun doins throughout the land and for memes and mores that swing your way but you weren't lookin whn they passed through town...a bon couer, ca c’est bon!

  • When I miss my friends, and the Whirlybird, I just tune into this video and remember the magical times at the 'bird - moonshine and all. The great musicians, dancers and plain folks that got together under that tin roof are legend anywhere. Thanks, Jim and Christy, for changing our lives and giving us memories to share with our great-grandkids.

  • These guys do play Cajun. And they also play Swing, and Blues etc. If you heard one song from them and think you know what kind of band they are then you just shorted yourself some really good music.

  • Wow!

  • @MissAbbysVids Yep. I danced 2 years ago to them at the grey fox dance tent. The crowd went wild.

  • hope to see y'all next weekend. Woot!

  • @efsb Agreed. Gosh that's no fun. I want to exchange insults and denigrate the opposition's musical sensibilities.

  • @Aerohog1 Labelling the Ramblers as "Cajun" is lazy marketing by whoever markets them, just because of their geographical base. Of course it's not tradition cajun music, but that doesn't make it a bad song - or a bad band.

  • Totally awesome, not to mention a sweet video.
