Opening the DNA Curtain - Starseed in Concert

"Opening the DNA Curtain" - Starseed in Concert. Starseed's Rasa and Marlis performing at Basha's on February 9th, 2007 in Northampton, Massachusetts.

The melody in this piece is based on an ayuhausca icaro, a traditional melody sung during an Amazonian shaman's mystic journey. The melody is used as a means for taming the spirit world in an effort to ease the often turbulent adventures of those who share the journey.

Anthropologist Jeremy Narby, in his book "The Cosmic Serpent, DNA and the Origin of Consciousness" wonders if our DNA speaks to us through the ayahuasca experience.
