UPDATE: This doesn't work consistently at the moment, but I will probably release another version of the device in the future.
This is another rather simple concept video, but I think it is important. It seems to me that a lot of people don't understand that, as units of time, a tick is not the same as a torch. To produce a delay of exactly 1 tick in a machine, I demonstrate how to take advantage of pistons, which take 3 ticks to update. If you really want to have your invention operate at maximum speed, torches alone will not cut it.
