April 26, 2009 Tipitina's Uptown, New Orleans.
It's Sunday night at the conclusion of weekend 1 of the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. We decided to catch a show at the famous Tipitina's. What a great way to end our weekend. The music was amazing.
The show opened with New Orleans Piano legend, Henry Butler playing an amazing set. The perfect start to the show.
The Dirty Dozen Brass Band followed, and did not disappoint.
Headliners The Blind Boys of Alabama played last and were joined at at times by both Henry Butler and members of the DDBB.
A night of music can't get much better.
