  • thanks,but if my cap is not fully kissed together would that cause my car to run that bad ?

  • @sarahandnemo yep. the cap must be fully seated,heat will cause the cap to flex,making the cap electrode pull away from the rotor alignment.

  • i have a 94 t/a did valve job and changed cap and rotor,now my car is kicking back when starting and timing is too advance or off,did your job fix the problem ?

  • @sarahandnemo the valves might need adjusting, the ignition timing is ECM control and is non physical adjusting.
