  • do you need to use a fixer? otherwise the colour will fade?

  • @yiyin1996 You don't need a separate fixer to set the color. Once you're finished dying, let your project set for 4-6 hours to let the dye bond with the fabric fibers. Then wash separately. That's all you need to do!

  • where can you get the dye that you were using in the video?

  • @makeupLele The Tulip One-Step Fashion Dyes are carried at all the major crafts stores, including Michaels, Joann Stores, AC Moore, Hobby Lobby, etc. We also have it on our website at ilovetocreate[dot]com!

  • Will this work only using one color? Like just pink?

  • @sammieloves2laugh Sure, you can also use only 1 color. Just be sure to band the accordian folds really well with the rubber bands.

  • Great tips...nice to have a video to go with what I read on another site.

  • @11109sarahhhkitty thats what she said

  • Works a lot better if you get the t-shirt wet first.

  • @briannafalkers You flip the shirt over, and repeat the color combos on the other side. This gives you color all around the shirt. Hope this helps!

I've always washed mine together and really never had a problem. Unless I"m doing one that has black in it.
