Winter sunrise over a frozen L'Anse Bay which is the lower end of Keweenaw Bay which is on Lake Superior. You are looking from the town of Baraga to L'Anse. You should be able to see some ice fishing tents too.

As of right now, are you getting a lot of lake affect snow? I'm in Canada close to Whitefish Bay and it's not to bad right now for snowfall. I'm waiting for the ice to get good and thick so I can shoot a video out on the ice. A lot of people have no idea that it's not the same sheet of ice every season. Always something different each year.
BTW, I now what a Yooper is. "EUPER"

I love this, I grew up in Baraga. I used to watch the sun come up over the Huron Mountains every morning driving south to school.
