@eagleflyy He isn't Hendrix, like you sad... he is GARY CLARK JR. ... different style, no need to compare him with anybody ... and the fact that he is GCJ is quite enough for me and for many others. :) His music is awesome!

people keep commenting on various videos that gary clark sounds like hendrix or that he is the next hendrix. no. this guy is great, but his solos are nowhere near hendrix. people are just saying this beacuse he's black.

@diggy3746 I don't think he sounds like Hendrix because he's black, I just think the solo he did sounded like Hendrix. If you listen to his other stuff, he's definitely got his own style, but here, he sounds like Hendrix to me. Nothing to do with him being black, though.
