The performance is very good, good handling good steering, good on fuel good acceleration but its miserably uncomfortable. I attribute its discomfort to its poorly engineered break pedal design. The break pedal is the furthest left of the gas out of any cars I have driven and this makes for a long reach and uneasy feeling when breaking. The seatbelt is too high on my waste and is annoying.Comfort and safety trump all other details of a car. If your not comfortable your not safe. Subaru=0 comfort

All subarus are just good and not great. Subaru makes alot of mistakes that keep there cars from being great. I could name some but it would fill this comment too much. I have a 2010 forester. Its a love hate relationship. Its good but a few things could be changed to make it great. I think this is why Subaru is not a huge contender amongst other car brands.

I think the looks of this car are just starting to grow on me. The 05 to 09, which is what I drive now (05) was love at first sight though. Perfect sporty exterior styling, great performance. I've been driving Legacies for 10 years (all with manual transmission), I've had the 05 GT for 1 year. It loves the cruise set to 100 mph, all day! It never gets old, I like it more and more, I still don't know about this new 1 though...

Last gen Legacy was much better looking. I got a 2006 Legacy with a bunch more features than the new model offers.

I still think last-generation Subarus were the best-looking but I can see how this new design theme helps keep Subarus Subarus.

@182Harding Gotta second that it just looks more elegant compared to the older ones , the only thing i didnt like from this car is the electronic handbrake
