I don't know if the AC is responsible entirely. All of the DiMarzio pickups he's used (PAF Pro, Tone Zone) are eq'd with a lot of mids. This is a quote from the DiMarzio website about the PAF Pro:
"Low notes have both snap and chunk, and there is a spike in the mid-range that gives the pickup a subtle aw vowel sound, like a wah-wah pedal stopped in the middle."

Please start using the ADA MP-1 again!!! :-)

I think that his sound are in his fingers, and the attack of the picks.. Now he use the injectors that are single pickups! I thought that the maple neck give him this sound with humbuckers, now with single coils he don´t use maple neck because de treble and brillancy are in the pickups.. Then.. some midle gain pickups and some of gain.. xotic AC, ada mp1.. clean middle gain.. always sound like him!!
There's a neck pickup in that burst strat
