I did not know about this one. But I have to say I do not agree with the so call Jewish star because King David did not need a star.

  • that some deep shit!!!!

  • Fred did have features of a north african....

  • Damn, i thought i was gonna hear a good joke: FRED SANFORD, AN ETHIOPIAN and A FALASHA walk into a bar.....

  • no doubt we ethiopians gave judism to the convert white jew.

  • The star of David, was used by the Nazis during the Holocaust as a method of identifying Jews. It is a recognized symbol of Jewish identity and Judaism. It is named after King David of ancient Israel. The exact origins of the symbol's relation to Jewish identity are unknown.

  • So do take into account that one of the scenes in this episode shows him ordering his family crest from a advertiser that claimed to do research on your family history for a small fee of $25. So with that said,do you think it is possible that the company he purchased that from had different crests in their warehouse and sent him that one because he is black? So, I think that is just the ongoing trend of the white man dictating where each of us are from instead researching for ourselves.

  • I have seen this one many times along with all the rest, and I have every episode, I love anything Redd Foxx has done from his stand up comedy to his tv series and movie appearances. He also won a Golden Globe. I must say that actually, fred was following script, written by James Stein and Woody King Jr, episode "Funny, You Don't Look It (1977) based off of a British TV series "Steptoe and Son"

So I guess you could ask the question, what was these writers trying to get across to the public?

  • you now that was good
