I ran out of string on my trimmer, so I thought I make a video on how to reload string on the Echo U-Turn trimmer head that I bought at Home Depot for $30.

  • thanks for the video, helped me out a bunch. :D

  • I have NEVER fed a weed wacker this way, is this something new? (like within the last 10 years? I always popped the cap off fed ONE eyelet ON THE SPOOL then took about 15-20 feet of line doubled it in half then wrapped around the spool then clipped to the notches then threaded through the spools housing and closed cap... I never heard of this way before....

  • @AndrewMessenger: Peeked at the instructions that come with the head (which I'd lost) in a Home Depot. They say 24 feet of .095 trimmer line.
