  • @kp7100 i guess get one from a parts truck or something I honestly have never replaced that before so I dont know the reverse lights is a wire that goes into the transmission and goes back to the tail lights so there is something wrong with the wire been there or the bulbs burned out the light in the dash could also be a fuse for the switch go to napa or carquest and say what you need and what its for stuff like that alot of times you got to go to parts places that know what there talking about

  • @86f150l i dont know i have no use for it aint gonna haul anything. the gas vavle im probably gonna need help because i look up fuel tank selector valve and it brings up some weird one idk if you look it up on autozone or something ull see. also my reverse lights do not work how to i work with that? and my intrument cluster lights dnt work either i changed the bulbs but my switch is shot i cant find the 7 prong headlight sitch there all 8,, what do i do??

  • @kp7100 the trailer brakes you just take out the box under the dash and all the wires going to it go down and under the truck and to the back why do you want to take it out any way? the valve i guess you could go to a junk yard or to napa or something and get a new one and the hoses make sure they go back to the right place on the new one and the temperature were the top radiator hose connects to the motor that there should be a wire connecting to the thing the hose goes on thats the wire for it

  • @86f150l yea sorry thats what i meant the trailer brake, how can i properly remove it? also i checkd under the valve and it looks connected by multiple hoses. so what do i do, do i just go to a junk yard and grab one and slap it on? theres nothing electronic about them? or any other connections i should know about the gas??? also i will try to look for the connection for the temp: where would it be..i have a 1974 f100 ranger xlt 390 cid c6 auto trans...thank you for replying and the help i need.

  • @kp7100 you sure that isnt trailer brakes hes talking about cause I personally have never heard of elelctric brakes on a truck and it probably is what the selector valve for the gas tanks the temp gauge is probably just the wire is broken or something thats why it didnt work in mine its the wire going to the thermostate

  • i just bought one and it came with an electronic break that the previous owner intstalled, how do i take it off i do not want it i just want orginal breaks

also the guy said the main gas tank doesnt work only the AUX he said its the selector valve next to the driver seat, and also my temp gage doesnt really work, pleasse help
