06/02/2009 Snow over the Ridgeway Hills above Weymouth Dorset England

06/02/2009 Snow hardly ever falls in Weymouth and when it does it virtually never pitches. What a surprise it was that the day after we got back from our holiday in hot and humid Indonesia we were greeted by a blanket of snow and freezing temperatures. Still it was good to be here to see it as I have not seen snow like this since I was a child. ot a reason for the whoe country to grind to a halt though, damn bad show about that.
