@dbaroudi1 dude it works like a normal hovercraft,the air rushing down causes a cushion of air to form from which the CD will ride on,if you blow the balloon and release it face down and push to the side it it will glide freely as if there was no friction,you could take this one step further by actually putting a mini vac on top...

@dbaroudi1 It pushes air under the CD and thus hovers a fraction of an inch off the ground. If you put helium in the balloon, the thing would just be stuck against the ceiling and that is no fun.

it doesn't actually hover off the ground shouldn't you try it with a helium balloon?
