How To Make A Sound Wave Effect in Photoshop

In this tutorial i will teach you how to make a sound wave effect in Photoshop CS4. I know i made some mistakes during the video but you should get the overall idea on how to create a soundwave effect. Feel free to comment or rate.

Hi for some reason when i go to add the colour it makes the whole layer white, ne ideas? ive tried selecting just the line but it only makes that thinker with white

@cdunlo11 My only guess is that you may be on the wrong layer or you might have some sort of opening or gap in the wave line that allows the rest of the layer to turn white. Hope this helps

My photo shop is being stupid or maybe i am but when i try to do wind while its rotated 0 degrees it wont let me even choose the option anybody know why that is?

@cdunlo11 you have to merge the layer with the line that was made with the line tool with the one that you drew by hand.

i dont really have much i specifically want to try, i just liek to do random effects to bild up my skills as an artist- so that when i get requests i have a multitude of stuff to try

Maybe u should of used a small amout of motion blur before the wind efffect, but either way very good
