@UltimateOwnz ..That isn't true, there are poor people everywhere :|
and in terms of technological advancements, we are so behind on everything compared to Europe, Asia and North America.

This is a phenomenon called a Microburst. When the thunderstorm is collapsing cold air from the upper atmosphere rushes downward and is accelerated to speeds 150km/h+. With it comes hail and rain (as seen here) they can pack a punch stronger than F1-3 tornados. Amazing Footage. :)

bad storm alright amazing to watch though. i was on a rooftop car park and my sister and i helped a young family get into their car right in the middle of it! and warned a further 20-30 people it was coming inside the shopping center. those people saved their cars and warned still more to do the same!

OMG I was in this storm! My neighbours roof got ripped off, no joke! o.o
I love how we Aussies just so casually accept what ever's coming. We're a tough breed and there isn't a lot that scares up. So proud to be an Aussie!

We Australians, have strong foundation. Our homes are strong, our economy is strong, and our people are strong.
We Australians, always help each other.
I have no surprise if these blokes so relax watching the storm from their backyard, because we know that we always have a full support from the government, army, and the people, in case we need help.
I'm Indonesian ethnically; I’ve been living in Australia for 15 years and become Australia’s citizen. I’m so proud with my adopted country.
