    Cat Power and Deftones are very different in genre, but not in expression. They're both genuine. I'm a big Toadies fan as well. I love any music that has sincerity. Music that was made as personal expression rather than as a means to an end is what gets me hard. If they're faking their love for it, that will seep into the music and ruin it for me. So Cat Power and Deftones might sound vastly different, but they're coming from the same place in a way. You and I just have the ears to hear it.
