RISK is a message-driven film, against problem gambling developing amongst youths. According to The Straits Times: "Risk's main character is Milton, played by 19-year-old student Shawn Lee. He said: "In the film, I gamble because of peer pressure and because I envy soccer buddy J.D. who wins bets and is rich. Good friend Lynn, played by 20-year-old student Nicolette Dunareanu comes to Milton's rescue when he loses $10,000 on a game. However, J.D. played by Justin Lee, 18, also a student has to flee from loan sharks".

RISK is a co-production by NCPG, South East CDC and Communication Boutique.
