pewDrums - Custom LaunchPad Drum Machine

After spending my second evening on doing something with the Novation LaunchPad, I came up with this. You might notice the similarities with LaunchPaint (my first try). pewDrums allows "painting" Samples into a 64 Step-Pattern. Sorry for that crappy demo but I wanted to finish this video today :D

Can you put two sounds trigger on the same cell??? Ex. snare and a kick together? great job!

No you can't. pewDrums really is a One-Track / 64 Step Sample-Sequenzer. It would be possible, but loosing 32 steps for another track seems like a pretty bad tradeoff (and there are plenty of 8 Track sequenzers out there) so I went the 64 step path.

Perhaps offer the option to set it that way in future versions?

Many standard drum patterns need at least 2 hits at once?

(Because drummers have two hands? ;-)

hi there, thanks for your suggestion. I thought about that as well. The "need" for 2-sounds at the same time depends on the style of music you are trying to do. I had / still got, lots of ideas for pewDrums but since I started using Ableton I got kinda distracted from playing around. But I will continue developing pewDrums (and other stuff as well) Thanks for your feedback.
