My model doesn't even fucking rotate or move when I try to. It just stays there. Can someone help me?

what DVD?

What if at 7:09 there's no character showing up but all grey? Did the other steps as recommended.

At 3:11 you should mention that you right-click on envelope_deformers. Took me ages to figure out.

My shared animations are titled 90 degrees when i try to replace the reference model of citizen with my own mesh. So basically if I can't fix this I have to replace all citizen animations with my own.
It's these things that ruin the experience of modding. An endless parade of awkward, un-intuitive processes and errors. After years of development I can't wait to finish my mod and never do this kind of thing again.

Nice video.
What version of XSI are you using? I'm using the latest version, and when I export then compile my model and open it in HLMV, the legs and hips are rotated 90 degrees from the rest of the body.

Did you forget to freeze the transform before assigning the envelope?
