@redbirdsaraceno Don't be too harsh on those reviews. I've stopped demoing sound quality in videos because it really isn't a realistic way of showing the quality. Depending on the quality of the mic I'm using to the quality of the speakers your using to hear the review, there's lots of factors that can effect it.

thanks for making this review and showing the sound quality. I know videos don't really show the quality because it sounds much better in person. But from what I've heard their nice travel speaking. I'm thinking of getting this next week. I actually saw them at target for $40 bucks. I'm going to be using these when I hang out with my friends outside their house chillinlistening to music on the ipod. I like how it's whole cable instead of 3. I also love the magnetic thing n the expand speaker.

will they sound just as good if i opened them up and ditched the casing/shell?

because i bmx hardcore, and i want to make these things a little smaller and lighter so i can mount them under my bmx seat . my seat never touches the ground no matter how hard my bike gets thrown because it was designed that way. i just want to know if you recomend opening these speakers for the purpose, or should i mount them as is. i dont really want to decrease the sound quality thank you btw! great review.!
