Thank you for the voice of reason! you and I have both seen first hand that the environmentalists have down right lied to the American people in order to prevent drilling in Alaska... Not sure why they are so against drilling with the proof that no animals, people and land is damaged by the drilling.

As an Inupiaq Eskimo from the village of Kaktovik, I completely disagree with Fenton Rexford on the possible development of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge for oil exploitation. The coastal plain of ANWR represents only 5% of the recoverable oil in the Arctic. And oil recovered from ANWR would only supply 4 percent of the USA's use of oil in one year. It's not worth it.

Please name one alternative energy which we could afford to make the switch too overnight. Unfortuantly there is no answer to that question, especially with a weekend economy. We need to slowly ween ourselves off oil as the government continues to subsidize the alternative technologies, we can't just switch overnight.

Thank you for this informative video. I have supported drilling in ANWR since the 1990's. It's time to get going on this. The American people are in favor by a sizable majority, so it is time for the power-crazed, anti-democratic Democrats to bring this issue to a vote.
