This song is about how sometimes the world can be sick and messed up place. Even though we grow up in those kind of situations it doesn't mean that when we can make decisions for ourselves, that we have to stay in the situation, that we recognize what sick and messed up around us and then we change things, so that we can break the cycle and it doesn't have to continue.

I dont mean to bitch but why is it that people have this inability to just enjoy a song. Not everything has to have a deeper meaning... perhaps its just a song . By all means its open to interpretation but not everyone wants to hear how it was so obviously written about your life...

Is it just me or are Acoustic versions of most songs better? I can fall in love with a song and be totally blown away by the acoustic version. It sounds like so much more feeling and emotion are put into them. You can truly "hear" what the artist is saying.

I love this song so much. I related to it back in late '07 when my life started to get really hard. It's more haunting sounded in acoustic and I love it that way! :) Beautiful Lacey with a strong voice!
