Barack Obama has overtaken Hillary Clinton 45-43, according to the newest survey by Public Policy Polling.
http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/

From PPP:

"Barack Obama has taken the lead in Pennsylvania, a remarkable turnaround after trailing Hillary Clinton by 26 points in a PPP poll in the state just two and a half weeks ago.

Obama's steep rise could be a reflection of a growing sense among Democratic voters that a continued divisive nomination process will hurt the party's chances of defeating John McCain this fall.

An Obama upset in Pennsylvania would be virtually certain to force Clinton out of the race..."

Note: DailyKOS calls the poll "ridiculous", saying
"There's no way in hell there has been a 28-point swing in this race in two weeks."

KOS goes on to say
"If the election were held today, I'd give Clinton a 15-point victory."

Who's right?
We'll see soon.

  • did Obama win PA?

o yea he lost by double digits and only got the black vote! how could i forget!!!!??

  • It doesn't matter.

Time is running out for HRC.

Obama will go to the convention with a lead of 100-200 delegates, and will be nominated.

  • Ahh, but time is running out for Hillary.

This was the last state she'll win.

With 9 contests remaining, Obama has won more delegates, more votes, and twice as many contests.

He also will soon overtake her in the SuperDelegate category.

But it's clear she's not giving up...the attacks from Hillary are going to continue, so Barack has to keep fighting a two-front battle against John McCain and Hillary Clinton.

  • She'll win Indiana and PR for sure. Do you really think the Super Delegates will vote against her when she's won all the swing states, and Obama's won all the Southern states which the democrats have no shot at in the fall?

  • The GOP is running a "dead horse" against Clinton, just like they did in 1996 with Bob Dole vs. her husband.

Whoever wins the Democrat nomination will be the next President.

  • I have not seen one poll to support this claim. Looks like she is ahead in every poll.

  • and obama will go to the convention without winning a single big swing state while outspending her massively. if you can't win a single big state, you're not getting the nomination, it's guaranteed loss in november. the superdelegates know this.

  • To nebaioth What are their 10 in your organization? The only white state he has won since February was Wisconsin and that was before everyone found out what a racist he was. I don't care if he has a white grandmother or not because we all know he through her right under that bus.

  • I guess your fantasy that Obama would win in PA is all just a bad dream for you. Thank God my home state had enough sense to vote for the better candidate. Oh yeah, he's really a man of integrity when he sat in Wright's church listening to what crackers white people are and saying "God Damn America" yeah that's integrity.

  • HAHAHAHAH EAT DIRT BARRY
