Squid Adler, he is like... the cousin or good friend of Launch Octopus. He was actually call "Volt Kraken" if I remember correctly in the original version.
Boomer Kuwanger and Gravity beetle (X3) are brothers though (Kuwanger the younger one).

use the boomerang against the red octopus and it should cut of his tentacles then he only shoot 2 missles.

I absolutley love megamanX4,even though I had it on PC,there was no music or anime cutscenes(I found out it my CD was a copy later on).I didn't discover Zero's acting talent till last month(aka the Iris scene).Its still a great game,I play it on my other non gaming PC whenever I travel.
Actually I'm pretty used to the X C Z control setup.Also, Nova Strike FTW!

X4 cannot be fully enjoyed without the cutscenes, it is unpossible! (By the way, check out the redub of the Iris scene by Lucas Gilbertson, currently the voice of Zero.)
