PBR Wi-fi Battle 1/23/08 A

Introducing my UU team! When I glanced over my other team, I noticed that it had all OU/BL Pokemon. So I decided, "Why not make a team entirely of UU Pokemon?" I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

*SPOILERS*

This was a pretty sloppily played match on my part, but it was my first battle ever with this team, so cut me some slack. XD As a result of my own carelessness, this battle was *very* close. It could have been a decisive battle if I had taken advantage of my Pokemon's resistances and immunities. I'm getting pretty sick of seeing Garchomp all the time, but I guess the fact that it's so bog standard just makes it that much more satisfying to see it go down.

My team: Rotom, Mightyena, and Cacturne

My opponent's team: Mismagius, Infernape, and Garchomp

Looks like your Mightyena is 3/4 the Mightyena I was intending to put on my next team. It's odd that Facade, under Poison, will do more damage than Crunch.

Were you going to use Howl instead of Protect? I was going to do that, but Protect combos well with Me First and it allows me to scout which I liked. Now everyone is going to think I copied you with Mightyena. =\

Nope. I was intending on Protect as well. I was thinking of Ice Fang rather than Me First. Seeing what Me First can do, however, maybe I'll use that instead. It'll wreck the Uber-using kids like nothing else, considering most of them are Dragon-types and use Dragon attacks.

Or maybe I'll just stick with Ice Fang. Eventually, someone would have come to the same idea I have. A Japanese uploader has the same Choice Scarf Masquerain set I have, for instance.

I see. It just seems like every time I find a Pokemon that not many people use, everyone starts using it at the same time. =\ Like Arbok, Arcanine, etc.

It feels that way with handy English words whose definitions I actually retain. Do you want me to use a different Pokémon than Mightyena for my next team? Maybe if you upload enough, you can gather some momentum and show everybody that you came up with this first.

Sounds like somebody let a couple of subscribers on Youtube get their head. Or maybe it's just your cold medicine or the fact that you have a lot of assignments, I don't know.

Under Used. THese pokemon are rarely used because other pokemon outclass them, however in the right hands, thy can be just as deadly.
