  • So you are always using a mechanical camera. So am I. I use an Exakta VX 1000, which is very bright with a CZJ Pancolar lens (maybe the same structure as a CZ Opton Planar I guess), but too loud while taking photos; a Voigtlander Bessamatic Deluxe and a Rolleiflex 3.5F. The two latter ones are my favourate.

  • I have handled the Contax RTS III camera, and i must say they are very, very well crafted.

  • I haven't yet been lucky enough to use such a RTS III yet I guess it must be exactly as what you described.

  • I love Contax cameras! Bravo!!

  • Thank you for your interests.

  • Too bad Contax isn't invested in Digital cuz they would make a nice poor man's M9.

  • I am about to buy into some Contax G2 gear. Thanks for posting :)

  • Just as it was getting interesting... It's over.

Look, get back here and continue...PLEASE!

  • I have the black G2. What a camera. The best stuff I've ever done with this camera was with Velvia 50 film.

  • I think the contax g2 was the finest 35mm

    camera ever made.

and the carl zeiss t star lenses are super

  • <3333 make more videos!! Thanks for explaining this camera. <3

  • a couple of years ago I bought a G2 on ebay..after 30 minutes of playing with it when I received it I logged on to Ebay and bought (buy now) 2 more and 3 additional lenses. I never splurge like that so I guess that counts as kudos to the camera. Contax come back!!

  • Bring back Contax

  • Well, it wasn't my camera (wish it was :), i got to use it for a couple of weeks and it's an awesome camera. Quite a leap from mu usual set up, which is a Nikon FM2 with Nikkor lenses.
