Considering the tempo they took, I thought they did quite well, and were rather brave to do so, that "le petit Roi" is difficult. For those commenting on dynamics, remember, the original composer did not indicate dynamics, so any dynamic markings you had in a copy of version you performed was put there by an editor. A different group may be using a different edition with different dynamics indicated. Or the director may decide to do something different.

Pretty well done but folks the TEMPO!!! waaay ridiculously too fast for this piece. Recorded this back in the early 80s and our "runtime was almost double your 1:38.

thnx for observing dynamics... but than its seemed like u were blasting toward the end... the thing that makes this song great is the speen and the fact that it has lots of dynamic changes and the magic of this song comes out when u observe it

I agree with Babbo... it was very fast, and it inhibited the ending, the "doigt le petit roi, gay gay" is supposed to be faster, not slowed down.

They're singing it really fast...It's very pretty when it's slowed down a bit.
