Parts of the gaming community organized another protest, by not attending E3, then asking others to join there cause. Its a type of Sensationalism actually. Not uncommon during these kinds of things. Its when websites or organizations want to reel in the public, for there own benefits, by using something that is of some importance and common goal. Basically its a type of threat

This fire is burning out of control & Im finished. Stop acting like Magneto's & more like Professor X's for the SOPA Fight! There is no reason to go too extremes though. Boycotting the event was not an extreme action. As a member of civil society everyone has the right to protest. Was there a threat of terrorist or violence uttered to the organization? No. You must remember that the ESA is a corporate entity, an entity that doesn't care about the potential loss of civil rights. At the end of the day, their revenue stream was their only cause of concern. The problem in North America is that we are apathetic when it comes to politics.

I respect the fact that you are willing to enter into a dialogue with one of your subscribers. Not many popular YT channels actually correspond with the viewers. I think what we are witnessing at this juncture point is an awakening of the masses of how technology can affect change. With respect to the boycotting of the ESA, I don't believe the ESA would have withdrawn it's support for the bill if their revenue was not threatened.

I wouldn't use that term the "greater good" and you didn't offend me. Ive already said im against the Bills. The thing has been defeated. I always stick up for a the little guy, I don't see how Utilitarianism has to do with, the SOPA protest. Like I said along with the Boycott of ESA, this stuff is becoming more and more extreme. The means justify the ends, people need to be calm and do the right thing. But like most protests, people go overboard.
