Magnum is so sweet! He is a real gentleman. I got to play with him and Magnum Chall! I live in AZ and Midwest Training Center is right by my dad's house. But David Boggs is a retard...he gave his horses plastic surgery to make them more dished.

@bazy11 He has a full, younger brother named Quetzalli and I prefer him to Magnum, actually. He's got a much sweeter temperament and I like his markings better, gives him a kinder looking face. He finally went to Scottsdale last year so I'm hoping they're finally doing something with the poor guy. When I worked at Midwest, Zalli only ever went out when I took him for grooming and exercising, though all the studs there are that way. Stalled ALL DAY LONG!

@Aristolvr Yes, David did surgery on Magnum, but not on his FACE! They did surgery for "wind sucking" and David got banned from the show ring for doing it for a year because Magnum had no medical reason. The surgery was not to dish his face, it was to tighten up his throat latch for a cleaner line. Get your facts straight!

Also, Magnum isn't a gentleman, he bites. A lot. Once when I was taking his hind wrappings off he even kicked me! He's great! So long as you pay attention to his every move!

@Flyingfudgemuffins it's not just desired traits. all purebreds have those traits. if they dont, somewhere in their lineage is another breed. you might be thinking of anglo arabs, which aren't purebred arabs. the breed also isn't technically "based" off anything. arabians are one of the original breeds responsible for the creation of others. i said nothing about his legs or build, just pointed out "flaws" that some people see cuz arabs look different from the normal horse.

@lilcountryrose Obviously those are desired traits in arabians, although not all Arabians posses those traits.

However, the Arabian breed was also based off of athleticism and a certain desired build too, and Magnum psyche lacks both those. Magnum psyche did look pretty before the plastic surgery, yes, but that isn't why I dont like him in the first place. Its because of how his legs and body are built. They're unstable.

Alrighty haters! Arabians are different from every other breed of horse... without plastic surgery?... they have a naturally dished forehead. They have one fewer rib and one less tail bone vertebrae, as well as being more high spirited in comparison to other breeds. All horses can carry their tails high, however Arabians do so naturally from birth on. For the people that think of owners as making them into horse barbies.. its called grooming and show sheen and is easy if you groom every day!

@Aristolvr Indeed he is a Rtard. In addition to such alterations of BREEDING ANIMALS he was recently caught gingering horses so they would carry their tails higher. For those of you who don't know, Gingering is a practice where they apply ginger inside their anus with a toothbrush to irritate them as much as possible. It burns like a mother fucker and the horse raises its tail to try to avoid the pain. Its a shame people like this as so successful.
